News and Events

At Heritage Green Child Care, we believe staying connected with our families and community is an important addition to the care we provide each day to the little ones entrusted to us. This page is where we'll share what's happening across our St. James and Mount Albion centres and the everyday moments that make our centres feel like family.

We're so grateful for the families, educators, and community partners who make Heritage Green what it is. Check back often to stay in the loop, and thank you for being part of our story.

Heritage Green Mount Albion Early Learning & Child Care Centre Receives Generous Community Grant

We are thrilled to announce that Heritage Green Mount Albion Early Learning & Child Care Centre has received a generous $24,000 donation from the Heritage Green Community Trust.

This funding will allow us to invest in new equipment, outdoor enhancements, and learning materials that will directly benefit the children and families in our child care and school-age programs.

Thanks to the support of the Heritage Green Community Trust, we will be able to purchase:

⭐ An upgraded stove and ventilation fan to support the preparation of healthy meals and snacks for our child care program

⭐ A new sandbox for our toddler playground

⭐ A shade umbrella for our second kindergarten playground, providing additional sun protection for children in both our kindergarten and summer camp programs

⭐ New trikes for our kindergarten children

⭐ New dramatic play materials that will be shared between our early learning and kindergarten classrooms

⭐ A variety of new toys, books, and learning resources to keep our classrooms engaging, enriching, and well-equipped

At Heritage Green Mount Albion Early Learning & Child Care Centre, we are committed to providing high-quality learning environments where children can explore, create, and grow. The generosity of the Heritage Green Community Trust helps us continue to enhance our programs and create meaningful experiences for the children in our care.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Heritage Green Community Trust for their investment in our children, families, and community. Their support will have a lasting impact on the daily experiences of the children we serve.

Thank you, Heritage Green Community Trust, for helping us build brighter futures for children.

"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."
